Bang Noi Floating Market is an old market in Samut Songkram Province, as same as other old markets such as Klong Lad Phli Floating Market and Don Mano Ra Floating Market. The market would open on the 3rd, 8th, and 15th day (not the calendar currently used). After many changes, such as the roads construction and the car were used instead of boat, fewer sellers and buyers came to this floating market. Currently, Bang Noi Floating Market is reconstructed and conserved by opening as the tourist attraction, where the merchants run the shops here. Houses are reconstructed and decorated to attract more tourists. Not many restaurants are available here because this is the small community. Popular tasty food are Fried Rice with Mackerel from Mae Klong River and Chaozhou Roti.
